So gang, it's been awhile...I've been trave ling through the artic tundra (Minneapolis! -17F!) And now I'm in balmy NYC! (30s!) So here we go...
1.) Good people that I work for = Larsen 2.) Dinner at the Walker Art Museum with my design buds. 3.) Being encouraged by Deny's stories and his walk. 4.) Seeing my farting hubbie for a couple of days! 5.) W hotels 6.) Fabrics from Purl Patchwork!! 7.) My Dansko's for keeping my feet happy 8.) Goldfish, parmesan for keeping me full on the plane 9.) My safety in NYC 10.) My God's love that keeps me sane through the day.
1.) Bfast with Gracie at Country Gourmet 2.) 50% off fabric at the Granary 3.) eggs benedict and french toast 4.) Elton's dorky rolling dance 5.) Hanging out with Cal and seeing her so excited to be around creative friends 6.) seeing Lisa B. pray for Christine (so proud of the sisterhood at Haven!) 7.) Rach-o and her gocco machine 8.) Ally counting down to 10 and running to me and giving me a hug. (and seeing her wear my new clips I made her) 9.) cell-phone charm that Isaac gave me that looks like a miniature version of ramen with an egg. ;D 10.) Clean sheets, clean bathroom, clean me * possibility of hubbie coming to NYC * Friends that love me and ask how I'm "really" doing.
I've been extremely busy the past couple of days. Up at 6:30 for an early call and not leaving till 7:30 pm. Mainly work insanities. My God of the impossible has constanly pulled through for me, and this one day was like all these crazy blessings all coming together as once. December was a tough month for me, I felt a little depressed and discouraged, but I believe that God has now redeemed it in January. He still loves me and continues to show me that it's all him and not me.
So here we go with my special day, 10 things I'm sooo thankful for:
1.) My client choosing my concept, photographer, and illustrator direction. (that's a triple play baby!) My boss and the other Creative Director didn't think they'd like my concept because they thought it was too soft and sophisticated, but it turned out that's exactly what they wanted. 2.) The photographer agreeing to let us purchase stock imagery from her since she's all the way in the UK, shoots for Elle, Lancome, British Vogue etc. I was thinking to myself, there is no-way this rock-star photographer would let us buy her photos for the small amount of money that we offered. But yes...she agreed! (God is good! This has happened to me 3 times in the industry, so my negotiating skills are gettin good! ...but honestly I just think God keeps on just blessing me) 3.) I get to go to Minneapolis and NYC all on the company. :) Thank you expense account!! 4.) Meeting the Sorcerer's gamma. ;) 5.) Yummy fries from Tied House 6.) Billy's bday = seeing friends during the weekdays Happy BDAY BEE-LEE!! 7.) Watching Simon temporarily lose my wedding ring during one of his tricks. 8.) Holding Abigail and watching her study my face with her furrowed brows. (she's cuteness!) 9.) 2nd monitor at work (blocks my view of Deny..just what I needed) 10.) knowing that Steve Jobs pilfered my song on my previous blog for the latest Mac Book Air.

So my hubbie and co. have started this New Years resolution...10 things that they're thankful for on a daily basis. Makes me think hard.
1. Campbells Chunky Microwavable Soup > Grilled Chicken & Sausage 2. Pandora 3. Morning hugs from the hubs...makes my day go better 4. Super Mario Galaxy 5.
